Try listing the states in your country to take your mind
off thoughts that are keeping you awake.
If you wake up in the middle of the night and can not go back to sleep, get out of bed to another room and listen to
music or read until you feel sleepy again.
Exercise sometime during the day (but not too close to bedtime) to help you sleep better.
Create a bedroom that is calming in color and
uncluttered.
Take time to go over your schedule for the next day and write yourself notes of what you want to accomplish so you
don't worry about forgetting important items.
Getting adequate sleep is one of the most important things
you can do for yourself!
We need 7 - 9 hours of sleep each night for optimum
performance, health, and safety. When we don't give
ourselves enough sleep, we accumulate a sleep debt that can
catch up to us.
That time invested in sleep pays huge rewards in so many
ways!
